6 Essential 3-Minute Home Beauty Secrets!

Vroom... hurtles a Lamborghini MurciƩlago. Broadband speeds are surging towards heaven! Powerful learning techniques promise crash-courses. So, can quick beauty be left behind? Let us quickly browse through these secret recipes for beauty, carefully selected from grandma's advice from different ages and geographies. Here you go... Enjoy the fancy names that I have given them!
1. "Citra" Face Pack: You guessed it right, the name refers to a face pack with fruits. But that is a regular one, what's so special? Well, the secret is the proportion. Take a full ripe Banana, 1-4th Apple and just 1-2 pieces of Orange. Grind it well and let it stand for a few seconds. Then add powdered flax seeds or flax oil to the mixture and stir well. Apply on a wet face and be sure to wash it no later than 3-5 minutes. Orange acts as a bleaching agent and flax gives the "shine". The other fruits provide vital nutrients to the face. And hey, grinding the fruits along with flax seeds powder/oil makes it sticky on the blades of your grinder.
2. "Heel-O-Heal" Procedure: This is a wonderful secret healer of cracked heels, which 1 out of 10 people have. The good news is that you do not have to go to a skin specialist at all, if you follow the below dead-simple procedure! Grind 1 full ripe banana, 7-10 drops of flax oil, 2-3 drops of lime juice and 200 grams of Rose petals. The paste should be very thick and so pour as little water as possible while grinding. You can replace banana with an equal quantity of potato but it should be first cooked (at least half-cooked). Apply this paste and wash after 30 minutes (well, but preparing the mixture takes less than 3 minutes!). Banana brings together the fissured parts, while lime juice reduces infection. Flax oil and Rose petals help the other ingredients and also promise some much needed oil content for rejuvenation. This is a promising secret, so try it!
3. The "See-It-Through" Secret: Dark circles, puffiness and redness in and around the eyes may denote an underlying health condition and should go if you take care of that. However, sometimes it may be a standalone worry of people and so try this if you are one of those. Make a paste of semi-cooked potato and cucumber and add fresh Aloe gel and a few drops of apple cider vinegar to it. Apply this and wash within 5 minutes. Repeat every day for 2-3 weeks. Then leave a break for 3-4 weeks and repeat as necessary.
4. Your Home Dentist: Grind 3-4 pieces of coconut, 100 grams of mint leaves, half-a-cup milk, 2-3 drops of apple cider vinegar and 2-3 bitter-gourd leaves. Apply it to the teeth and let it stand for not more than 3-4 minutes; do not brush your teeth. Do this once a week for 2-3 weeks and then once a month for a few months until you need it. There are no known harmful effects. A bonus: This procedure also fights bad breath too!
5. "Yog-Doesn't-Hurt" Face Pack: Well, the cryptic refers to Yoghurt and I heard there is a reference to this in Yoga as well! Make a paste of 1-cup Yoghurt, a tea-spoon of honey, 15 grams of powdered Cinnamon and a drop of lemon (to bleach). Apply on wet face and wash after 3-4 minutes. Yoghurt lends a massaging effect and the "good" bacteria enhance the health of the skin. You can try this even 2 times a day for as long as you wish as it is extremely harmless. However, do not underestimate its efficacy, judging by the simplicity of the procedure. By the way, the proportion has to be exactly as specified above.
6. "Halo-Where-Huh" Rejuvenator: Well, the Halo is right here... on your face! But only after you try this. Prepare a paste of hibiscus flower (only the petals) and a little lukewarm milk. First wet your face and apply a very thin coating of Aloe gel. Then immediately apply a thick coating of the Hibiscus solution. Wash after exactly 5 minutes and no longer. If you apply the hibiscus solution without Aloe's help, the skin could crack and also it could lend more coolness to the skin than required. If you cannot find hibiscus, just use Aloe gel and you will be fine.
