What Can I Do To Stay Pretty?

Being pregnant doesn't mean you have to stop being beautiful. It might mean though that you will have to change parts of your beauty routine, maybe add some things and maybe stop doing some others.
One of the first things that a woman considers is whether it is safe to color hair during the pregnancy. In the past years there was a myth that all chemicals can be absorbed by the body, reach the baby and form some kind of abnormality. However, doctors today believe that this is not true. Coloring hair products contain chemicals, but the portion that actually enters the system is limited. However, you can never be sure that it is not going to harm your baby, neither you want to take that risk. This is why we suggest some ideas that can help you solve this problem. First of all, you can consider not coloring your hair during the first months of the pregnancy when the baby is small and the development is at a crucial point. Secondly you can use a natural hair coloring product that is harmless. Your hair might actually need this change as well. If you can't get used to something new, you can have highlights. This is a very good solution that keeps you safe and beautiful.
Now that your hair is colored you might want to have a manicure. Having a manicure cannot hurt your baby. Have a manicure at home so that you are not exposed to chemicals used at a beauty salon. You can have a manicure every month. Use a clear polish or a light color as darker colors are not recommended if you are at the end of the pregnancy. If you deliver your child the doctors will monitor you and your nails can indicate blood pressure. So you can have your hair done and your manicure as always and feel pretty as always.
Another thing to consider is changing your wardrobe. Your pretty tight clothes won't fit you any longer and you should seek nice alternatives. There are many ways to look pretty when you are pregnant. Overalls and dresses can make you chic and comfortable. You have certainly seen celebrities that looked their best when they were pregnant. Copy the look you liked best. Visit maternity stores that have clothes especially designed for pregnant women.
Keep a balanced diet and eat healthy. If you put too much weight, your baby could be at risk and so can you. Your delivery won't be that easy either. So try to be within the limits. If you put weight that is not needed, you will also have much trouble losing it afterwards, so don't feel stressed and anxious about being pregnant. Keep your normal schedule in everything and you will soon be a pretty mom.
