Removing false eyelashes can be quite a tricky task if you've never done so before. Knowing how to remove them properly is often not in a woman's beauty knowledge since most people rarely wear them.
In order to remove those pesky eyelash attachments you're going to want to pick up a remover solution if you don't already have one. There is no substitute for a good makeup remover.
Never use Vaseline. Never use baby oil. These are a big "NO!" when it comes to removing eye makeup. Those are two things you definitely want to keep away from your eyes. Just get a remover, they aren't expensive.
Next, stick a cotton swab inside of that solution and carefully move the wet swab along the edges of the false eyelash.
Most people try to tug on them immediately... don't do this! Make sure to wait about 5 or 6 seconds after putting the remover on them. Once you've waited, it is time to gently peel the lash away.
If it hurts, then you haven't waited long enough, you didn't apply enough remover, your remover doesn't work, or something else went wrong. If you haven't waited long enough, let it sit a couple seconds and try again.
The fake lash still won't come off? Try applying some more remover. If you move in a small circular motion that sometimes helps more get in between the crevices and helps loosen them up a bit.
If you've manager to remove your faux lashes successfully, you can reuse them in the future. Just remember to use some tweezers to get rid of the old compound.
